Marketing plan- Venue- Where is the gig going to take place? The Queen Victoria Pub What date? 22nd of May Who are the audience? age between 17-20 , the majority will be friends of performers. Genre of the gig? Acoustic gig with different lots of genres that appeal to the audience. Cost for entry? free entry What type of gig is it? a charity gig. Promotion- Posters- Plain, simple and elegant that catches peoples eyes. News press- sending out all the information about the venue into the news press such as: where it is, who is it suited for, what time, who will be performing, etc. Facebook page- all the information about the venue, the performers and the charities. Charities promotion- get leaflets and posters from charities to show the audience that you are hosting a charity gig. Finance- Build a Budget chart that has all the costs of the equipment that will be needed for the gig and talk about the profit and loss at the end of the performance. Budget examples: (on the right side) Logistics- Make sure you have the right equipment that the performers need, the transport for your equipment and performers, also the right staff such as: sound technician, light technician, front house, etc. Risk analysis- A risk analysis is a way of analysing and targeting the dangerous in the venue, it will also help to plan the event better, having it with you it will help you take actions if an area is at higher risk at the venue.It should include: Selecting a suitable venue selecting a place for staging Use of PA and amplifications Sound checks and rehearsals A balanced line-up sound technician. you should also target the threats, targets and vulnerabilities. Asset register- is a statement of an organisation which shows the assists that it owns, such as: Acts- The acts or roles is something you should plan especially if you are working in a group, each person should take different roles to make the planning faster.They should also update what they have done in their roles, a good way to do that is to create an online calendar and put what you have done in each dates. Example of roles: Promoter- a person to promote the bands venue by creating posters, flyers, social network pages, etc. Budget manager-keeping track of the budget, the profit and loss Venue manager-Find out where the venue is, the capacity. Unique selling points- The charity is a unique selling point that we will be hosting and raising money for.Its on of the biggest points that will be attached everywhere. Performance- If you are performing at the gig then you need time to rehearse and perform in front of your peers.The more you rehearse the better it will sound when your performing.You also need to make a set list for the acts so each artist will know when they are performing. Swot analysis- Swot analysis is a tool to use for your planning, it can be used numerous of times to gain a collation of ideas regarding issues and problems. Swot analysis- strength, weakness, opportunities and threats in the analysis. Advantages of Swot analysis- -Improves enterprise level planing -improves communication -helps to coordinate -enhances decision making -does not require skill, training or cost Disadvantage of Swot analysis- -Only one influence on the problem -Dosent provide solutions -Cannot help you choose the best decision -all of data not needed |
