Where assessment takes place through performance, it should be recorded on video/DVD as evidence for verification purposes. If learners choose to present work for the recorded medium, the recording will be a naturally occurring piece of evidence. Grading of the evaluation can be assessed through written and/or oral communication. If it is through oral communication (video diary, audio presentation or viva voce) there should be clearly attributed recorded evidence to support this.
Performance work will be assessed through P3, M3 and D3.
Me,Dan,Jasper and Harry were planning on doing a song that involves conflict in our area we used our ideas from the spider diagram and mind map to create our video.The instruments we were planning on using are electric guitar,acoustic guitar,bass or xylophone and a piano.The song will be having an intro,4 verses,2 chorus and one bridge.The song will be about 5 mins long and the video will show different kind of conflict that involved everyone life.
week4-Me Dan Jasper and Harry have been trying to learn how to play the song that we created.Dan,Jasper are playing the guitar, Im playing the piano and Harry is playing the xylophone.The Intro starts with Dan and jasper then it goes straight to the main verse where Harry comes in with the xylophone I come in the chorus with the piano and the chords that i play are F chord to C major chord to a A minor chord and G major.I like how the song sounds execept when the piano with the xylophone because it sounds like its not tuned.We been having a lot problems with the instruments at first i couldent get the rhytm exactly how i wanted,harry had difficultys chosing what kind of instrument to play because the xylophone sometimes sound really bad with the piano.
week5- I had a great difficulty with the rythm so i been practising the song on my own to see if i start getting it right.The left hand are octaves F minor to C major To a A minor and G major.The right hand goes c,d,e,g,e,d,c repeats 2 times and then it goes right hand-d,e,g,e,d,c,d,e-f- left hand right hand-d,e,g,e,d,c,d,e-c-c- left hand right hand-d,e,g,e,d,c,d,e-a-a- left hand right hand-d,e,g,a,g,e,g,c-g-g-left.I`ve realised that playing on my own wont do me any good if im trying to learn how to play the rythm correctly so next week i need to start practising more with the guys.
week5-Jasper brought his camera so we went to rotherfield to start shooting with Dans mate.You can see in the video that we start discussing what the scene should be like and what things should Dans mate do to make it even better. We started with the smoking part Jasper took pictures a lot to capture more of the smoke than Dans mate to add more effect on the video.We also had Dans mate sitting down and drinking a can of beer to represent an indivudual person with a lot of problems in its life that is mostly to do with conlict.The third scene was taking pictures of him walking around in an enviroment that is all ruined representing conflict every where not just in the person itself .The fourth scene Jasper had this idea of shooting pictures of Dans mate running and stoping straight away in front of the camera so you can see him looking at you in the video and it represents of him running away from conflict and looking something that would give him hope.
week6-Weve been trying to finish our video,we had one of Jaspers mate to help us he works in photography.We went up to rotherfield and we had a few ideas of putting lyrics in our video so when we play the song the lyrics in the video will be in time with the song.We also been discussion the small details that could outstand more in the video such as the lyrics or broken windows everything that involves conflict because the small details is what matters the most.
week7-Learning a new chords for the piano that jasper plays on the guitar the chords are f,g,c,g,c,g,f,c then e,g,c,g,c,g,d,c, after that is a,a,c,a,c,a,d,c, and the last one is g,g,c,g,c,g,g,c we were going to play this notes on the xylophone but the piano sounds better with the guitar and steve said that the xylophone isnt tuned to the piano.Harry will be playing bass and on the perfomance day the guitars and the bass will be amplified.We also need to record our song after alison ffilm us.We were planning to perform the song this week but the video isnt ready so alison allowed us to do it next week

week4-This 2 videos shows Dan trying to find the notes on the xylophone weve been discussing that the xylophone should sound better playing the same chord as Jaspers than the piano.Dan had great difficulty to get the notes right while using his ears.Weve been doing this for harry to play on the xylophone i feel that it should have been harry finding the notes not dan because dan isnt responsible for the instrument that harry is going to play.I was recordig for evidence on our blog.
This video shows the guys trying to write the lyrics of the song that we are going to play.We asked dan and jaspers friends to help us with the video and the ideas that was to write the lyrics so we can feel the video with images that relate to the song.The tried to use different items to write with this items were bottle,cup and their fingers.I was recording the whole video for evidence on our blogs.
week5-This video shows us dicussing what we wanted to do with this particular image and our ideas were to have the charecter looking homeless and miserable so it would represent conflict of the mind.We had different acts for the same charecter so there would be different images that would show different types of conflict.The two main acts were smoking and drinking.Artistically we tried to illistrate our images to the song
This video shows different locations and acting we wanted to put for one of our images.The conflict in this image was mainly on the place not on the acting we just wanted to do something different and we thought of demostrating our surroudings more than the act itself.We had the actor to act exactly the same but next to the wall also we made him walk to show off the enviroment.
